Thursday night (Jan 7) was the premiere of my new fave “Growing Up Hip Hop”and two of the reality show’s stars, Romeo Miller and Angela Simmons stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to chat about the series and well…growing up in hip hop.
During their sit down, the two dished on the concept of the show and revealed that the show was Angela’s idea and she brought it to Romeo and the two now serve as executive producers for the show.
Angela dished on the altercation that took place between she and Damon Dash in the first episode. For those unaware, Damon’s son Boogie is also on the show and Dame challenges Angela on her street cred. She also dished on her stalker who also appears on the first episode.
Meanwhile, Romeo dished on the public drama that is going on with his dad Master P and his mother getting divorced and how it has played out in the media. He opens up on the lawsuits within his family and why he chose to follow his fathers lead.
He also dishes on interracial dating, specifically his girlfriend who is White and how social media has reacted negatively to his relationship. He even opened up on his long time “beef” with Bow Wow and how real that situation was.
