In 2015, Universal Pictures will release the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, based on the story of the notorious West Coast rap group. Ice Cube premiered the first trailer during a concert in Sydney, Australia this month and the footage was uploaded by a fan in attendance.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, the movie stars Jason Mitchell (Eazy-E), Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre), and Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr., who plays his father. Check out the trailer for the highly anticipated film which hits theaters in August 2015 below.
