Jazmine Sullivan just dropped her third album ‘Reality Show’ this week and although its only the second week of the year, dare we say it is one of THE best album’s of the year. The Philly songstress stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Wednesday to dish on the album and her long awaited return to music.

During the visit, Jazmine opened up on some serious issues including her past abusive relationship with a man who she says slapped her so hard she temporarily lost her hearing. This relationship she says is the reason why she took the sudden hiatus from the industry– “I left music because I was in a really bad relationship. It had gotten abusive,” she said. “I was like, ‘I might not be able to sing.’ And that kinda woke me up.”

Speaking on the album, Jaz says the album is her way of showing her reality and says it was inspired by her love of reality shows including ‘Love & Hip Hop’ and ‘Bad Girls Club’.
