I told you just days ago about the current #SoGoneChallenge, where rappers and singers freestyle over the beat of the 2003 smash single “So Gone” from Monica which featured and was produced by Missy Elliott.
Following tons of amateur videos of folks hopping on the track to put their spin on the hit over 10 years later, and even a few notables (Chance The Rapper) as we showed you HERE, now Monica herself has decided to jump in the game.
The singer shared a new video on Tuesday (Aug 16) of she and the songs co-star Missy, performing a 2016 version just for the challenge. Monica totally bodies the song as she raps this time, while Missy lays low in the back. Get into it below.
