If you are a “Power” fanatic like me, you are waiting tirelessly and with baited breath for the show’s upcoming season 3 which is set to air in Summer 2016. While the show is currently filming the upcoming season, we are getting some tidbits on some new casting going down on the set.
According to Deadline, Anika Noni Rose is joining the series for a multi-episode arc. She plays LaVerne Thomas, a streetwise cop from the neighborhood where Ghost and Tommy grew up.
No other details on her role and if she will be a permanent character and how she ties into the story line with Ghost and Tommy, but we will be watching to find out.
