Erykah Badu Issues "Apology" To Iggy Azalea, Iggy Responds with Olive Branch [Video]

If you didn’t see Erykah Badu as she hosted the “Soul Train Awards” last weekend, you certainly heard about her jab at Iggy Azalea declaring that what the newcomer is doing is “definitely not rap”.

Although the diss was just a few seconds in her opening monologue, the effects spilled over into the days following and social media had a field day with the moment as meme’s began circulating and everyone had an opinion whether opposing or in support of the ongoing Iggy shade.

Well following that, Iggy issued a very subtle response to Ms. Badu via Twitter and now this week Erykah has issued a response, or more an apology (kind of..).

On Monday (Dec 7) the soul singer shared a video where she apologized to Iggy on behalf of her children who are fans of the “Fancy” performer. However, the apology was laced with just a little bit more shade, watch below.

Well following that, Iggy took to Twitter that same evening to extend an olive branch to Erykah despite the shade and offered her daughters some “VIP” treatment.
