Fans of R&B crooner Frank Ocean have been patiently awaiting word from the singer on his new album, the follow up to 2012’s Grammy winning masterpiece ‘Channel Orange’.
Well now the singer has just revealed that his new album is coming, and sooner than you might think. Frank shared a photo on his Tumblr page as well as his website with the caption, âI got two versions. I got twooo versionsâŚâ and the hashtags #ISSUE 1, #ALBUM 3, #JULY2015, and #BOYSDONTCRYMAGAZINE.
Following his posts that alludes to a July release and a possible title ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ to coincide with the magazine cover, Frank’s mom also took to Twitter to confirm the project.
Although the set has not spawned an official single yet, Frank has teased fans with his tracks ‘Memrise’ which dropped in November and also a cover of Aaliyah’s ‘At Your Best’.
We are very excited for this new project and have been longing for new Frank material. Summer is shaping up to see some good releases.
