Following Friday’s last and final episode of BET’s ‘106 & Park’ the shows one time competitor ‘TRL’ is reportedly set to return in 2015 and has begun taping. On December 16th, a casting agent named Lauren Waters took to ‘Facebook’ to announce MTV was on the hunt for audience members for the network’s “TRL/Daily Show” style show.
Then on Friday the official taping began and was confirmed by a fan who attended the casting and shared the details when she checked in at the Viacom studio. No word on when the new ‘TRL’ will premiere but we are looking forward to the revival.
Hopefully BET can rebrand and revive something in place of ‘106 & Park’ and sooner rather than later.
