Janet Jackson is breaking her silence for the first time since the passing of her brother, Tito Jackson.

“May you rest in eternal peace. I miss you so much,” Janet wrote via an Instagram story on Tuesday, October 15, alongside a vintage photo of her and Tito when they were younger.

The post comes as her first since September when the Jacksons’ former family manager, Steve Manning, and family confirmed that Tito had suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma.

Tito’s death was announced exactly a month ago this week when his sons also took to social media to honor their late father.
