Mathew Knowles has entered the group chat as it pertains to the Grammys and Jay-Z‘s headline-making acceptance speech at Sunday’s show where he addressed Beyonce being continuously snubbed for ‘Album Of The Year.’
As we told you, Hov accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award honor at the 2024 Grammys and used the opportunity to call out the Recording Academy for their lack of diversity as it pertains to voting members and winners.
Beyonce currently holds the title of the most-awarded Grammy winner of all time but has yet to win AOTY after being nominated multiple times.
Now, Bey’s dad has chimed in and joined “TMZ Live” on Monday, and when asked about the matter, Mathew gave some executive behind-the-scenes tea calling out Bey’s label, Columbia Records.
Now the Recording Academy CEO, Harvey Mason has jumped into the convo and explained the voting process and how Grammys are awarded.
