Talk of Porsha Williams returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has been ongoing for over the past few years, and even more recently amid the highly-publicized season 16 cast shakeup.
On Sunday, Kandi Burruss announced that she had decided to step away from the show ahead of S16 due to focus on other projects and suggested that the extended delay in casting prompted her decision.
While social media has been a buzz about who they want to see cast for the new season, Porsha has been a consistent ask from fans–and it appears that they will have their wishes granted. As fans recall, Porsha stepped away from the show back in September 2021 ahead of Season 14 after ten seasons on the show.
Early Monday (Feb. 5), Kenya Moore made headlines for an interview with Page Six where she continued her sentiments that she would like Porsha back on RHOA:
“I think we made great TV together. You know, I think we’re the best frenemies. Some of the best times on that show have been created with me and Porsha,” the Kenya Moore Haircare founder, 53, shares.
“Some of the most iconic moments have been created with us being onscreen together. So I feel like that magic could still exist if she comes back.”
She went on to reveal that the cast of Season 16 is almost “finalized,” and expected the process to be complete “within the next 30 days” and that filming will begin in the spring.
“I think they’re 100 percent focused on creating a dynamic new cast with some oldies and some newbies,” she teases. “So we’ll see. We’ll see. Season 16 might just be as sweet as you want it to be.”

Andy Cohen also addressed a casting update on Monday when he took to his radio show to dish on Kandi’s departure, teasing that more RHOA news would be coming this week.
News broke on Monday night that reportedly, Kenya Moore is returning alongside Porsha to lead the new season 16 cast.
Bravo has yet to make an official announcement but Andy Cohen did take to Radio Andy to address the reports revealing he will not be making an announcement just yet BUT reveals that “casting is superb.”
