Can you believe that Chris Tucker has never had a stand up comedy special? Yea we couldn’t either. The vet comedian turned actor is set to release his first ever comedy special on July 10 via Netflix.
The special titled Chris Tucker Live was filmed at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and sees the comedian tackle the subject of his late friend Michael Jackson and more.
“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Netflix, one of the true global leaders in entertainment, on my first comedy special,” said Tucker. “Before people started seeing me in movies, I was doing standup. It’s always been a part of me, and now I’m excited to share it with my fans around the world.”
